My name is Rita Schoeberlein. I'm 47 and just started riding - in fact I'm going to take my skill test next week to get my motorcycle license.
I also was born and raised in Montana. I have also lived in Oregon, Nevada, and now in northern California. I've been here 3 years and really love it.
My SO who happens to be from Germany rides a HD, and it was he who encouraged me to learn to ride and purchase my Savage.
I currently work as a computer graphics pre-press technician for a wine capsule manufacturing company. I am considering starting my own business doing graphic and web page design. I have also worked for an analytical chemist assaying gold, convenience store manager, sales clerk, perpetual inventory clerk, bartender, poker dealer, newspaper dark room and paste-up tech, and accounts receivable clerk.
I'm thoroughly enjoying riding my new bike every chance I get. My SO and I are discussing taking up a new hobby --paragliding. We think we should be able to take them with us on our bikes.
I really enjoy this forum. It is extremely informative as well as entertaining. I try to check it out every evening when I get home from work.
My SO requests that you keep the European trip stories coming as he really enjoys reading them. I enjoy reading all of the trip stories, even the ones written in German, as I have my own personal translator.
I look forward to learning more about our commrades on this site also.
